The Honey Belles are a friendly group of ladies of all ages from Chesterfield and the surrounding areas. Although
starting small, we have grown to become a choir of 35, but we are always looking for new members to join us.
We sing in a three part harmony – altos, mezzos and sopranos. Don’t worry if you are not sure where exactly your voice fits, come and join in and we can help you work that out. It is not necessary to be able to read music either – some of our members do, some do not, but it could be a great opportunity to develop a new skill as you sing with us.
We meet at St Mary’s Primary School in Chesterfield from 7:45pm until 9:30pm on Wednesday evenings all year round. If you are interested in joining then come along one evening and have a go. The school gates are located on Cobden Road. You can park outside the school building on the school playground. For directions please click here
We perform at various local events all year round as well as putting on our own concerts in November.
We also meet up as a group regularly socially. Some of our group have been out to Manchester to do a bit of shopping followed by a concert to see Gareth Malone, some have been out for meals as well as just meeting up for a few drinks in town, to have a laugh and dance.
What our members think:
Singing with a group is so uplifting – everyone should try it!
